2010 Guidelines & Field Decorum

1.)  Team needs to arrive at least one (1) hour before scheduled game time.

2.)  Manager, League Rep, and District Rep. check in with the Tournament Director, the coin flip will be done with the manager to   determine home/visiting teams.  Home team will occupy the 3rd base dugout.

3.) Turn in the top 2 copies of your official lineup card, which will be provided, to the scorekeeper and give a copy to the opposing manager.

4.)  Catchers must wear a mask, dangling type throat protector and catcher’s helmet during practice, pitcher warm-up and games.  3.09 Managers or coaches must not warm up a pitcher at home plate or in the bullpen or elsewhere at any time (which includes infield & outfield practice).

*NOTE* All players standing next to the person with the bat during infield & outfield practice, must wear a catchers helmet.

 

Penalty for not complying: Team forfeits infield & outfield practice for that game.

This is your only warning.

 

5.) Thirty (30) minutes before the game, the visiting team will be allowed ten (10) minutes for infield practice.  This is optional.    Time begins when announcement is made.

 

6.) Twenty (20) minutes before the game, the home team will be allowed ten (10) minutes for infield practice.  This is optional.    Time begins when announcement is made.

 

The official lineup card will need the following information.

A.) Your League name
B.)  Managers name, first and last
C.) Coaches name, first and last
D.) All players names, first and last
E.)  Uniform number for all players.
F.)  Starting players field positions, 1 to 9.

 

Dress Code for Manager & Coaches

Shorts may be worn, but no swimsuit style, cutoffs or baggy shorts that go beyond the knees.  No tank top shirts, sandal type shoes.

 

Team Score Books

Team score books will be in the dugout, except for making changes.  Not on the field in the coaches box or in the stands.

 

Items Not Allowed in the Dugout or on the Field during the Game

Food, players no seeds, glass in dugout, tobacco of any type, pins attached to hats or uniforms, bracelets, necklace’s, ear rings, batting helmets without proper warning labels, cell phones not on the field unless the Tournament Director gives the OK.  Medical alert ID's are acceptable.

 

Things to bring to the game

1.)   Eight (8) Little League approved batting helmets, with warning labels.
2.)   Two (2) sets of catchers gear:
A.) Three (3) Catchers masks with dangling type throat guard and full ear flap helmet.
B.)  Catchers chest protector.  (Full length for 9&10BB, 10&11BB, LLBB)
NOTE:  If long model is being used, it must be worn properly.
3.)   Water cooler and paper cups.

 

 

Please clean up dugout after game.
